Welcome to The Creative Cooks where 'every recipe is seasoned with a smile and every cook is the expert'.
The Creative Cooks share what is everyday cooking in your own kitchen to the inspiration of another's kitchen. The intent is to learn from each other. We all have things that we do in the kitchen without thinking because they have become second nature to us. The joy is to get together and have show and tell.
The Creative Cooks relations are like the cherry on top. Our events never pass without loads of laughter. We tend to take home with us more than just a new recipe....helpful tips come in many forms.
This 'getting to know you better' element, otherwise known as the Creative Cooks Symphony is like the cherry on top. The root of this word is sumphoneo; from sum-together, and phoneo-to sound, or 'to sound together, be in accord, be in harmony.' In old texts, this root word has been used to express agreement/unity. For the Creative Cooks it is a time of sounding good together! There's nothing more melodious than a room full of giggling women who accept each other.
During symphony, we take turns sharing from our own experiences about a specific theme which is announced in the invitation, giving plenty of time for preparation. Various symphony talks have centered on 'your favorite cooking utensil', 'a romantic story', 'something about yourself that others wouldn't know', 'silly summer fun', 'something sweet that you are looking forward to in the next month.' Each event has a diferent topic to discover together.
At the Creative Cooks it is safe to say that we enjoy morsels of all kinds, for tummy and soul!
